I dragged my hunger through the desert

toward the man on a ladder holding a book

Where is the rain, I ask

Does the book speak of rivers?

Does the book tell of seas?

He says he needs words then runs off with my voice.

Now when he speaks what he says becomesthe limit of my world

How's it going Patris! I hadn't looked in Wittgenstein, was just flipping through 'Culture and value' the other day... nice book. Was reading Wallace, at some point, too, recalling what you said about him being, well, normal, steadying, relative to Yeats et al...

Developing a theory that involves the walks poets seem to take through dimensions otherwise invisible. (Actually not - but have been thinking about the various fractured ways of seeing - hardly an original thought)

Went back to Wilfred Owen’s work (letters and poetry). A side effect of watching and reading military history

lately without a doubt.
